Key Dates for Candidates
APPLICATION PERIOD: 12/04-01/27
CANDIDACY CONFIRMATION DEADLINE: 01/28
CANDIDATE PRESENTATIONS: 02/03
Applications are due before 11:59:59pm on 01/27. If your application is denied, you will receive two business days to appeal. At the regular February meeting, candidates will have the opportunity to present themselves to the public in-person or in written or recorded form.
NOTE: If you want to withdraw your candidacy after you’ve successfully applied, you must do so before the end of the regular February meeting.

Neighborhood Candidate Criteria
Neighborhood seats are reserved for resident homeowners and renters, or non-resident property owners within each neighborhood. Seats are elected by eligible voters from the candidate’s own neighborhood.

Business/Non-Profit Candidate Criteria
Business & Non-Profit seats are open to any business or non-profit organization operating and publicly accessible within Uptown and are elected at large. The board member can be the business or non-profit owner or a designee.
